Whether it's through health coaching or life caching we help you sort your sh*t out! Using physical and mental coaching tools, we provide a safe space for you to take back control of the most important thing in your life YOU
We are a family run business based in Abingdon, and we work primarily from our 'Shed Of Strength' and through online sessions, we are a straight talking pair of coaches with the sole purpose of helping others take back control in their life, whether its mental, physical or both! We aim to both challenge and support our clients everyday to put them that one step forward (even if it's a small one!).

I'm Sara, helping you Sort Out your Shit (SOS) in your life so you can take back control, put yourself back at the top of your list and thrive in your life for life. I guide and mentor you to take responsibility to live your BestLife consistently and sustainably. If something affects your ability to be happy and thrive, together we examine it, map out your path and take action, mentally, emotionally and physically. Using our BestLife Roadmap, we work together to create a road you actually want to travel.
I help change the world, one person at a time, by both recognising the power and impact each individual holds is immense, and then supporting that person to harness their power to the best of their ability. Believing and trusting that, by helping you live your BestLife, we put the best version of yourself out in to the world, changing it for the better.
The more individuals we help, the more ripples we create and who knows where that could lead us?
I am a retired CrossFit & PowerLifting athlete; keeping fit and strong through lifting heavy shit, all whilst not running if I can help it! Both of these sports sparked joy and curiousity within me. Both highlighted the importace of mental resilience and community throughout life, and most importantly to chase what you love to do. So of course they are a part of my own journey to where I am now and reflect into how I work with clients!
When I'm not changing the world, I like to tuck up in my sofa nest with a good book, a decent cup of tea and lose myself in other people's stories. In the summer I love paddling down stream in my kayak watching the world go by. My not so secret hobby is people watching when I can, often leading to people helping!

Running the Best Self Academy with Sara, and all aspects that feed into it is where I can help YOU live your BestLife.
As a coach I am hugely passionate about helping people improve their lives in manageable, simple and fun ways. I see exercise as something to enjoy, never as punishment.
Through my years of training and working within the industry I have developed a strong appreciation and fascination for many sports, in particular Olympic Weightlifting and the original concept of CrossFit. These sports helped to contribute towards my positive attitude with fitness and food!
So what is my mission? My aim is and will always be to provide a safe space to exercise, discuss health related topics and improve peoples quality of life in their own individual ways. I provide as space where people feel seen and supported to simply exist in the own skin. Everyone is different and so each approach with a client is bespoke, focusing less on the "copy and paste" approach, and more on the personalised experience where you are top priority. Taking action and taking control of both your life and health goals.
Fitness has always been a constant in my life from a young age, and after jumping at every chance to assist, shadow and learn in gym environments from around the age of 15 - I can safely say, I love what I do.
